David Kalama of Hawaii, carrying his board, greets Jamie Mitchell at Hawaii Kai, Oahu, Hawaii, after both won their divisions in the QuiksilverEdition Molokai to Oahu Paddleboard Race, Sunday, July 29, 2007. David Kalama, and his brother Ekolu Kalama, crossed the treacherous channel between Molokai and Oahu, a distance of 32 miles, in four hours, 36 minutes and 55 seconds to win the men's stand-up team division. Jamie Mitchell, paddled with his bare hands to win the men's solo division in four hours, 48 minutes and 55 seconds.
